Availl's continuous real-time multi-directional acceleration, replication and mirroring technology ensures that files exist in N places simultaneously and in complete synchronization, no matter where a change in any of them is made. The data replicates between file-servers on the LAN, VPN, or crossing firewalls. File open in instant everywhere.

Acceleration & End-to-end performance

Availl includes the most advanced optimisation and acceleration technology. Files are always accessed locally (from the local server hard drive), at hard-drive speeds. Optimisation eliminates overhead, "chattiness", and traffic.

Real-time system:

Changes made to data on any server are immediately mirrored on all other file-servers (or you can use a scheduler if real-time replication is not desired). Instant access everywhere.

Complete transparency:

Simply install Availl on a server, and specify which folders need to replicate. Your users and applications keep using the exact same files, from the same location, in the exact same manner. They are not able to tell that anything changed. Plus, you set ACL, NTFS and Share security exactly as before.

Bandwidth Elimination:

Availl's unique multi-directional replication includes byte-level differencing technology, which transfers only the portion of files that have been modified rather than entire files. In addition, the communication is compressed. This reduces transfers by 95% or more. Availl lowers traffic & bandwidth use more than any other solution.

Availl works over standard HTTP

So is very easy to configure across firewalls, VPN, or any internet connection. End to end encryption is included.

100% file coherence

Is always maintained. If a user on a server in China saves a spreadsheet, and a split-second later a user in the U.S. opens the same file, Availl guarantees the user will open the file with the changed version. It is simply impossible for any user to open an old file.

Full file-locking:

Just like on a standard network-share, Availl fully supports file and data locking in real time. For example, if Mary in Tokyo opens a Word document on the Tokyo file-server, and a split-second later John opens the same file on the NYC server, John would get the standard message about the file being edited by Mary. Conflicts are eliminated. Just like sharing across the LAN, Availl maintains the locks that enable file-sharing. Remotely - in real time. File type does not matter.

Data streaming:

Availl synchronizes files' data as a background process, without impacting performance. However, if a user opens a file that was not yet fully synchronized (such as a new large file), Availl streams the data to the application. For example, a user in Chicago drops a 30 MB file into a folder replicated by Availl. The file would appear instantly on the file-server in San Diego which also has Availl. However, the data could not possibly be fully mirrored yet. If a user opens the file in San Diego, Availl will stream data to the application so that it opens the file, while streaming in parts of the file that are not immediately needed by the application. So even if it takes seconds to fully mirror the file, the user in San Diego will be able to use it immediately.

Availl can keep past version of files

On the backup file-servers, and you can always retrieve past versions as well as deleted files. You can also schedule point-in time snapshots of the data.

On-Line & Off-Line
